Work packages
The project is divided in 5 work packages, each of them lead by one partner.
WP1 will consist in the construction of a 1J Laser based on the 200mJ lasers previously developed by Trumpf Lasers. Lead beneficiary: Trumpf scientific lasers (TSL) WP2 will consist in the development of instrumentation and preparatory experiments in laboratory. Lead beneficiary: Université de Genève (UNIGE). During WP3, the LLR team will perform outdoor horizontal measurements and investigate the effects of wind, water and turbulences. Lead beneficiary: André Mysyrowicz Consultants (AMC). The laser system will be tested under conditions determined in WP2 and the results will be analysed. Lead beneficiary: Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). WP5 comprises project coordination as well as data management and dissemination of the results. Lead beneficiary: Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS).
